Well, I’ve finally taken it upon myself to create a blog to cover my journal to publication. I was using my blog over at http://keikomushi.wordpress.com, but it seemed like the right time to separate some of the content. I suppose most of my reasoning is that the other site is… well… too random. So, here I am…
The last week has been a road of discovery for me, as I strove to find a web-host. Nearly two weeks of experimenting with new platforms and services, but I keep coming back to a blogging platform as a means to connect with people. It has been pretty frustrating to say the least, and there are quite a few new sub-domains floating around using the name “keikomushi” in the prefix. I’ve deleted what I can, but some of the hosts offer no real support for customers. It is a sad day when your provider refuses to talk to you about your account.
On a good note, I’ve made a lot of progress on the first books of Elven Gunslinger and Heaven. What I find particularly odd about this, is that these stories started as Freewrites in mid-2010. All it takes is a small plot seed and an entire world can grow from therein.
